I am sick and tired of waiting for their Stand Alone system. I just talked to Kevin at PrimeSpeed and I am getting a Haltech for my car. He even has an extra VPC Harness which will be wired to the Haltech unit so there will be no need to cut up my main harness. I will let Sparkie tune his car and ask him for his maps so I can use it for a base map on mine since we have similiar upgrades. The installation and tuning on the dyno, installation of my 850's shouldn't take longer than a few days. Car will be tuned in April. Probably in late April. I am confident Kevin can hit the magic 800whp on NOS. The following weeks after the dyno session, I will be at the local track to see how deep in the 10's I can go with my fully street driven car (full weight). Just haven't decided on what tires to run. I also need to learn how to drive properly and use my handbrake on launches :)
PS: I cant wait till I see all the other amazing Z's this season.
